Fetch Canine Rehab was conceived with the goal of providing skilled services to maximize your dog's functional mobility and overall quality of life. Owner and practitioner, Georgia Bottoms has always had a passion for dogs. She's had Ripken, her chocolate lab, since he was 6 weeks old. That passion grew into a dream of providing physical therapy to dogs after watching him receive rehab after his knee injury.
Georgia was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She attended high school in Brussels, Belgium after her father took a position at NATO. She returned to the states to play collegiate basketball at Indiana State University and after college played professional basketball in Greece for one year. She returned stateside to attend the Medical College of Virginia for Physical Therapy. Georgia has worked as a Physical Therapist for 14 years, 9 of those with dogs.
Georgia came to Savannah as a physical therapy student. With its close proximity to the beach and mountains, Savannah was the perfect fit for her. Georgia has treated humans in the acute care and skilled nursing facility settings, most recently as the Wound Care Coordinator at Memorial Hospital. Her love for dogs has never wavered, however, after continued perseverance Fetch became a reality. In her free time, Georgia enjoys attending Auburn football games with family, spending time with her wife Lauren, co-owner of Fetch and their 3 dogs, Ripken, Charlie, and Gabe, and Ritz.
Emily, our registered Vet Tech and Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), has been working with dogs for 10 years. She lists adding quality and comfort to senior pet's lives as one of the most satisfying parts of her job.
When not helping your pets on their road to recovery, Emily likes watching old movies and reading on her screened-in porch with her 3 fur-sons, Stuart, Geoffries, and Gable.
